About Henry of Pelham winery

Henry of Pelham Winery was established around 1842. The name of this winery comes from the bed great-grandfather of the current owners, who jokingly called himself “Henry Of Pelham” after a former prime minister. The Winery is located near Lake Ontario and Niagara Falls. Originally, sheep were raised there and later grapes were planted. These plantings were among the first in Canada. In 1984, the entire vineyard was replanted so they had enough of their own grapes to make Estate wines.
