Antinori Badia a Passignano Chianti Classico Riserva

Sangiovese by Antinori from Toscane, Italy. A ruby red wine with purple hues and strong aromas of wild cherry and red fruit, supported by velvety tannins. It is a brilliant wine that provides a high-level wine experience.
The sangiovese grapes come from a vineyard that came into the family’s possession in 1987. The wines are aged in the cellars of a nearby monastery built about 1,000 years ago. The wine was aged for about 12 months in Hungarian oak before being bottled.
