Artendsig Shiraz Blok A12

Shiraz by Arendsig from Robertson, South Africa Lovely spicy nose with aromas of tobacco, cedar and hints of violet. The flavour is rich and dense with first and foremost a fruity impression assisted by a hint of black pepper. The finish is nicely balanced and has nicely integrated tannins.
Maturation on wood for 12 months in 5000l foudres and part in neutral 225l French oak barrels. Ideal with lamb, venison and other hearty red meats.
