AV Bodeguers Nereus Grenache

AV Bodeguers Nereus Grenache from Emporda, Spain. Cherry-colored cherry middle layer, clear and glycerin. Complex aroma with jam, licorice, vanilla, strawberry, cherry and blackberry. Hints of undergrowth and lots of minerality. In the mouth a feeling of fresh acidity that is combined with polished tannins. Remarkable structure, balanced with well integrated wood. Slate mineral from Empordà. Grenache 100%, locally known as Lledoner. Grapes from the two Grenache vineyards. Both estates are located in Rabós at an altitude of approximately 200 meters. 20 year old vineyards certified organic. Aged for at least 12 months in French oak barrels of 225 and 300 liters. Minimal clarification and filtration processes. Rest in bottle for 6 months.
