Baldovar Arquella

Merseguera by Baldovar from Valencia, Spain. In the glass, it is a light straw-coloured golden wine with green hints.The nose is intense and deep with successive aromatic atmospheres. Aromas of warm brioche and forest honey,intertwined with creamy and sweet French oak notes. On aeration, a distinct note of ripe lemon appears accompanied by a subtle scent of very subtle green banana, all these sensations are supported by aromas of daisies. The palate has an original entrance where velvety textures envelop an intense acidity that portends long maturation. The mid-palate is distinguished from the attack by its fresh fruitiness. The finish is long, agile, fruity and spicy. The acidity persists with a glycerol that gives the illusion of juiciness without being sweet. The aromas of the nose are reflected in the finish.
