Bodegas Ontanon Akemi Tinto, Garnacha, Graciano, Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain. The result is a unique wine that like few others defines the personality of each vintage, a revealing snapshot of the personality of our Rioja vines. Its profile is characterised by its elegance, by the beauty of its floral notes, silky, supple mouthfeel and the mineral nuances that mingle with amazing fragility in the long delicate finish. Ideal with sushi and spicy Asian dishes. Garnatcha, the most widely planted red grape in Spain. Excellent for blending, although the best wines made from Garnacha come from Priorato, where they are usually single-varietal. Garnacha is an important component of traditional Rioja (usually up to 30 percent). In France, this grape is used almost exclusively as a single-varietal with other grape varieties. Garnacha is a true Mediterranean grape that is addicted to the heat. The grape variety always follows the sun, and changes its name regularly. Graciano is one of the best grapes in Spain (it is grown in France under the name Morrastel) and is one of the most interesting red grapes in Rioja. It likes cool, clay and chalky soils and a mild, humid climate. It dislikes wind and hot summer sun. Graciano, a spicy, fragrant grape with an intense flavor, gives low yields and is very susceptible to disease. That is why this grape is not very popular with the average winegrower.

Wordt veel in de Spaanse wijngebieden planted and is considered a very noble variety. This is partly because it is the most important grape in the quality areas Rioja and Ribera del Duero.
