100% Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero, aged for 16 months in American and French oak barrels. On top of that, another 10 months aged in bottle. Truly an outstanding performer!

Tempranillo betekent ‘vroeg’ en is een niet rechtopstaande wijnstok met grote, ongelijkvormige bladeren en grote trossen met dikke druiven. Zeer waarschijnlijk is het een inheems Spaans druivenras. Zijn oorsprong zou kunnen liggen in de Pyreneeën, waar in de 80-tige jaren nog wilde stokken van de tempranillo werden aangetroffen.
