Bodegas Ontañón Ontañón Clarete. Tempranillo en Viura rose uit Rioja, Spanje. Rose, which is made with white and blue grapes to vinify like a red wine with a brief pel contact. The claret has a high floral character, light fruity finish.

Wordt veel in de Spaanse wijngebieden planted and is considered a very noble variety. This is partly because it is the most important grape in the quality areas Rioja and Ribera del Duero. Tempranillo produces dark wines with low acidity and alcohol content. Wood aging benefits the wines containing tempranillo and gives them extra softness. Is a good basis for red Rioja wines. Tempranillo is known in Penedés as ull de llebre and in La Mancha and in Valdepeñas known as cencibel Viura sometimes also called macabeo. The high yield and adaptability of this white grape in all conditions make the viura popular. For still white wines, both dry and sweet, but they also make the well-known sparkling Cavas.
Viura once played the role of soothing strain in red Rioja. Regions used to resort to this method when the tannin and acidity proved too high for pleasant consumption.
