Tempranillo and Graciano by Ontanon from Rioja, Spain. Deep layer of colour, with red cherry nuances and iridescent ruby highlights on the meniscus, showing age and maturity. Powerful aromatic intensity and a complex bouquet, with spicy notes, coffee, figs, coconut … due to long ageing in Allier and Tronçais barriques. Hints of black fruit, truffles and brushwood that evoke an autumnal landscape of the mountains from which this wine was born. Notes of pastry and compote fruit with a balsamic and mineral background, a maximum expression of the terroir and its roots.
