Bon Courage Cape Vintage

Aperitief by Bon Courage from Robertson, Zuid Afrika. Ruby red wine with predominant aromas of spice, black currant and violet. Also on the palate you taste a complex wine where again black fruit dominates, supported by cedar, pepper and tobacco. The vines of this wine come from the hills of the Simonsberg. The vineyards are located between 170-180 meters above sea level. The wine consists of 100% Touriga Nacional.
During fermentation, brandy is added to the wine to stop fermentation early in order to obtain a higher sugar content in the wine.
