Cantina Mabis Enigma Passiemiento (Sangiovese)Emiglio Romagna from Emillia Romagna, Italy. Elegant and balanced red wine from the Emilia-Romagna wine region (Rubicone) made according to the Appassimento method. This 100% Sangiovese wine has lots of aromas of black fruits and red fruits (blackberries and raspberries). Full and firm finish with soft tannins.

Sangiovese: the most common ancient and very robust, but thinly membraned species. Originally from Tuscany and from there spread throughout Italy. Sangiovese consisting of two qualitatively very different sub-varieties. The Sangiovese piccolo (the lesser) dominates and is the main variety in Chianti.

The Sangiovese grosso (the better) produces the Brunello and Vino Nobile de Montepulciano. With a low yield, excellent red wines that can be stored for a very long time. Since 1960, this well-known Tuscan grape variety has also been planted in Sicily. Here the grape produces a full red wine, harmonious but also quite firm. The wine often has a fresh character, which is why it is often drunk young.
