Barbera by Cascina Gartina from Piemonte, Italy. A dark, deep red wine with intense and spicy aromas of ripe cherries, plums and blackberries. This wine is balanced, round and supported by pleasant soft tannins.
This Barbera comes from Monferrato in northern Italy where the Mediterranean climate allows for slow ripening of the grapes. This gives them a chance to develop slowly which especially benefits the suppleness and elegance of this wine.
