Semillon and Rolle from Pas Du Cerf. Provence, France. Beautiful bright color with gold-green reflection. A delicate nose with citrus aromas and delicate exotic fruit. Lively and fresh mouth with fresh citrus acidity and a soft touch of exotic fruit in the final. Delicious with scallops, cod and Thai soup.

Sémillon, for dry but also sweet Bordeaux wines. The ripe grape is rich in sugar and very sensitive to noble rot (pourriture noble). The world’s most beautiful (sweet) wine, Sauternes, is made from this grape. The character of a young Sémillon wine depends on the region. In cool areas: fresh and fragrant (sauvignon blanc esteem) with a fairly full taste. In warm areas: subdued scent of pebble, full and sometimes cumbersome in taste with a low acidity. Characteristic is the mild bitterness in the taste and aftertaste.

Rolle of Vermentino. Probably related grape variety for white wine to the Malvasia, perhaps the same. In Bellet, near Nice, powerful, intense white wines are made from this grape variety. Lots of ripe fruit, nuts, and slightly spicy in the taste and smell
