Chenin Blanc is a high-quality white grape from which stunningly beautiful sweet wines can be made in the Loire, such as Bonnezeaux and Quarts de Chaume. Locally, the grape, like the wine, is called pineau de la loire. The relatively neutral character of the grape and the high acidity provide a fresh impression.
