Domaine Fournier Pouilly Fumé “Les deux cailloux”. Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire, France. The vineyards are located on the best soils in the region, the clay and limestone silica that is so important for the typical flinty flavor of this wine. Like Sancerre, the Pouilly Fume is known for its lively, fresh, juicy and aromatic wines. Very pronounced dusty, floral aromas with a somewhat greenish character and typical flint at the end.

Sauvignon Blanc also called fumé blanc, is the most important white grape of Bordeaux. Fresh, fruity wines are made along the Loire. In Sauternes, the grape is blended with the sémillon.
