Dunstone, Shiraz

Dunstone Shiraz from Worchester, South Africa. Beautiful deep ruby red colour. Aromas of red fruit and freshly ground pepper. The palate is full with slightly tight tannins, red fruit, vanilla and light oak notes. Playful finish. With BBQ, generally red/grilled meat dishes.

Syrah: a strong blue grape of very high quality. This grape is usually not easy for wine growers, but it is the seasoning for many Côtes du Rhône Villages. Delivers incredibly powerful and complex wines under optimal conditions. Have a high tannin content, without being stiff. The Syrah grape quickly suffers from poor fruit set in cool weather during flowering (coulure) but is not very susceptible to grape diseases such as Oidium.
