Etyeki Kuria Szürekbarát (Orange Wine). Szürekbarát (Pinot Gris) from Kuria from Etyek Hungary. Pale, brick-orange color. Bright nose with aromas of citrus and pink pepper followed by ripe mandarin, grapefruit and orange. Behind the fruit appear floral notes of almond and peach blossom, supplemented with a hint of cinnamon. Lively taste with orange notes and a hint of salt in combination with almonds in the background. Pleasant bitter and refreshing aftertaste. Delicious with dishes with chicken or pork and Asian spices. Very successful with dessert with orange, pomegranate and caramel.

Pinot Gris: the grapes turn a light pink-gray color when fully ripe. The character ranges from lush and bold to light and lively. The Pinot Gris provides spiciness to the wine. In Alsace, Pinot Gris is harvested late and turned into a rich, complex wine. In Italy, where the grape is called Pinot Grigio, they harvest early and make a lively, fresh wine. The grape is also successful in Germany and is used to make wines in Alsatian style and with a semi-dry taste. Here the grape is called Ruländer, grauer burgunder (Grauburgunder) or grauklevner. Ruländer is widely planted in the Baden wine region.
