Firriato Santagostino Rosso (Nero d’Avola Syrah)

Nero d’Avola-Syrah by Firriato from Sicily, Italy. Traditional vinification in temperature-controlled cuvées followed by malolactic fermentation and an 8-month aging in French and American barrels. Deep red wine with lovely notes of ripe, red fruit (cherry and strawberry) with spicy aromas of cinnamon and licorice. Soft and elegant tannins a nice warm and long finish.
