Guado Al Tasso Vermentino Bolgheri DOC

The first Vermentino harvest at the Guado alTasso estate, located near Bolgheri, near the Tuscan coast, was in 1996. The grapes are picked in the early morning of each year to preserve the aromas as well as possible. The initial fermentation process takes place in steel vats, under a controlled temperature of 5Cº, The skins of the grapes remain in the must for a maximum of 6 hours. Further fermentations refine the wine under a controlled temperature of 18Cº in steel vats. In February following the harvest, the wine is bottled and ready for sale. A beautiful fresh white wine with its own character. Straw yellow in color, with intense hints of fruit aromas. The taste is fresh, harmonious, slightly mineral and has a nice finish.
