Henschke Keyneton Euphonium Shiraz from Barossa, Australia. A dark red wine with a purple hue and intense aromas reminiscent of blackcurrants, dark plums and cassis. It is a full and complex wine with fine tannins and a velvety finish. 62% shiraz, 23% cabernet sauvignon and 7% cabernet franc from Eden Valley and Barossa Valley. The wine matured for 18 months in new and used oak barrels before bottling. This is a wine that calls for creamy, slightly spicy dishes, but also goes great with meat dishes and creamy sauces.
