Mencia from Heredad from Bierzo, Spain. Beautiful violet colour. Beautiful nose with aromas of red fruits such as cherries and raspberries. Light hints of black fruit and certain notes of liquorice, toast and smoke with a hint of vanilla. Fresh complex flavour with lots of fruit, good acidity and a sweet palate, yet dry finish.Delicious with pork and lamb.
