La Petite Ferme Barrel-fermented Chardonnay

Chardonnay from La Petite Ferme of Franschhoek, South Africa. This Chardonnay is made from 50% From our Franshoek Estate grapes and 50% from Elim (Agulhas). 7 months of wood maturation 3 months of Batonnage. On the nose, it has a warm burnt butter and toasted almond touch. Fresh ripe pineapple and green apple flavors follow on the palate.A balanced and complex wine that manages to combine the fresh citrus and classic rich buttery aromas.
