Mas Foraster Petita Julieta tinto, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Trepat from Conca de Barbera, Spain. The perfumed, medium intensity nose offers spicy, red cherry, red berry, funky wet earth and wild herb aromas. In the ripe, medium-full palate it has a fresh, lively acidity and soft, fine-grained tannins that support the flavors of crankers, raspberries, earthy minerals and wild herbs. A bit tight on the palate with slightly chalky tannins. Fine earthy mineral notes linger in the long, tight and fresh aftertaste.
