Mauro Molino Roero Arneis DOCG uit Piemonte, Italië. Harmonious fresh white wine with intense floral bouquet and aromas of apple and lemon. Lingering delicacy in the mouth with strong but pleasant mineral undertones. Delicious with Aioli, Apserges, shellfish dishes. Arneis: also called Nebbiolo Bianco or Bianchetta d’Alba, is an indigenous white grape variety from Piemonte. The grape is very much at home on the slopes of the hills in the Roero and Langhe area. For wine growers it is sometimes a difficult grape, with a low yield, and early ripening and quite sensitive to diseases, especially mildew. In addition, the grape is sensitive to oxidation and contains very little acid. But with the right care in the vineyard and during vinification this grape can produce very full wines with a soft peach flavor and a slightly bitter aftertaste. This grape is also used as a monovarietal for Methodo Classico wines. Arnies is also grown in Sardinié en Australië.
