The palate is also powerful with refined tannins and a nice full finish.14 Aged for months in oak, malolactic fermentation in barrel, vines over 40 years old. The wine then matures for between 10 and 12 months in bottle. With Red meat dishes, Hard cheeses, lamb, smoked pork, bbq and tuna.
