Nyakas Aligvarom (Budai Cuvée)

Nyakas Aligvarom (Budai Cuvée). Chardonnay and Irsai Oliver from Buda Hungary. Deliciously perfumed wine based on Chardonnay and Irsai Oliver. Floral aromas combined with citrus and grapefruit indulge our nose. On the palate, we taste the freshness of the Irsai supported towards the finish by a plump firm touch from the Chardonnay.

Chardonnay, the grape of white Burgundy and Champagne, is planted all over the world. Delivers good to very good wine with a full, dry taste. Chardonnay is a grape that does not have an unambiguous character, which depends on the terroir (soil and climate) and the method of wine making. Chardonnay lends itself very well to maturing in wooden barrels.

Irsai Olivér is a white Hungarian grape variety. The grape is a cross between the white grapes Pozsonyi Fehér and the Csaba Gyöngye. The grape, originally grown as a table grape, is also widely used for making a spicy-fragrant white wine and for the preparation of spirits such as pálinka.
