Phebus Chardonnay Semilion – Patagonia from Patagonia, Argentina. Golden yellow, elegant wine with bouquet of exotic fruits of lime and grapefruit. Fresh and mouth-filling with a clean finish. An original combination with the sensual aromas of the Chardonnay with the tighter structure of the Sémillon. This wine is composed of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Sémillon. Aged in steel tanks to preserve the fruitiness of the wine. Chardonnay: the grape of white Burgundy and Champagne, and is planted all over the world. Delivers good to very good wine with a full, dry taste. Chardonnay is a grape that does not have an unambiguous character, which depends on the terroir (soil and climate) and the method of wine making. Chardonnay lends itself very well to maturing in wooden barrels. Sémillon: for dry but also sweet Bordeaux wines. The ripe grape is rich in sugar and very susceptible to noble rot (pourriture noble). The world’s finest (sweet) wine the Sauternes is made from this grape. The character of a young sémillon wine depends on the region. In cool areas: fresh fragrant (sauvignon blanc esteem) with a fairly full taste. In warm areas: subdued scent of pebble, full and sometimes cumbersome in taste with a low acidity. Characteristic is the mild bitterness in the taste and aftertaste. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lT3_PvPrp6g&feature=youtu.be
