Motepulciano by Poderi Constantini from Abruzzo, Italy. Deep ruby red colour. A combination of red and black fruits, amarena, plum, blackberry, wild blueberry, liquorice and tobacco with delicate smoked, leather and vanilla notes due to aging in wooden barrels.
Full-bodied with fresh and balanced acidity and firm, gooey and persistent tannins. With charcuterie, flavoursome pastas with red sauce, meat dishes, game and semi-aged cheeses.
