Here the grapes are elegantly acidic and the wines are light and fresh in character. This also applies to this pleasant Prosecco, prepared according to the Charmat method. The scent features acacia flowers with a good and fine intensity, fresh fruity and elegant with a hint of peach and yellow apple. Soft in taste with character and pleasantly dry. Glera is the new official name for prosecco. The name change of this white grape has a long history, but the main aim is to prevent misuse and confusion. The name ‘prosecco’ may only be used within appellations in Veneto and Friuli, and no longer exists as a grape.
