Prunotto Moscato d’Asti DOCG. Maskat aus dem Piemont, Italien. An intense, straw yellow, lightly sparkling white wine characterized by aromas of hawthorn and acacia honey. It is a fresh, elegant and balanced dessert wine that guarantees a full taste experience.
100% moscato from Asti, Piedmont. The grapes were carefully picked and stayed in the press for an extended period to ensure that the must would absorb as much flavor as possible. The moscato comes from sunny slopes where it had the chance to develop slowly and with sufficient sunshine.

Muscat is probably the oldest wine grape in existence. It was the Greeks and Romans who brought this breed with little disease resistance to the south of France. Muscat is therefore one of the oldest heat-loving grape varieties in Europe. Muscat is sometimes called the bee grape because they love it. The grape also produces table wines and raisins. There are a large number of mutants that have been given special names. The most important are muscat à petit grain, muscat d’alexandrie and muscat ottonel. Muscat is a grape characterized by very low yields. The most striking thing about muscat is that it produces very aromatic wines with a muscat aroma. It is made into pale yellow and sweet dessert wines that are fortified with alcohol to 15-20% (Vins doux naturels). Muscat wines smell of flowers (roses, white flowers and lemongrass), muscat and fruit (grapes, apricot). In France, muscat is found all along the Mediterranean Sea. Muscat is also used in the Rhône in the AOC Beaumes-de-Venise and in Alsace. This grape is planted almost everywhere in the world.
