Terre Forti Bianco d’Italia, Moscato and Malvasia, Trebbiano from Emilia Romagna, Italy. Nice straw yellow colour with slight green sparkle. Lively nose with floral aromas of peach and apricot. Lovely fresh and fruity taste with a nice balance between the juicy sweet fruit and refreshing acidity. As an aperitif , light pasta dishes, tuna and cod.

Moscato bianco, grapes and wines of the muscat family can be found throughout Italy. Usually light wines with a hint of sweet and a fine scent. Often used for sparkling or frizzante wines such as the Asti Spumante and Moscato d’Asti from Piemonte and for the strong sweet wines such as the Moscatos from Sicily. There is also a red moscato. Malvasia, also known as malvoisie and malmsey. A very sweet juicy grape. Produces on Madeira, among other things, the amber-coloured, lushly sweet Malmsey Madera. In almost every region there is a wine made from the malvasia, which can be dry, sweet or sparkling. The grape is grown in Portugal, Spain and Italy.

Trebbiano: this white grape is found throughout Italy. Produces dry wines with lots of colour and aroma. In France, trebbiano is called ugni blanc or saint-émilion. The grape is mainly grown in Cognac and Armagnac and its wine disappears into the stills (Alembic = still of the alchemists)
