Thummerer Kiralyleanyka from Eger, Hungary. This wine from the Kiraleanyka (Princess) is dry. A nose of apricot, apple, anise and the nice fresh acidity makes this a nice drinking wine for summer.

Királyleányka or Fetească regală is a grape variety that originally comes from Transylvania, which used to be part of the great Hungarian empire. The name means “king’s daughter”. It is generally believed that this grape is a cross between the Kövérszőlő and the Leányka.
