In her nose, the unmistakable Kékfrankos cherries, Kadarka bell pepper and Syrah pepper dominate at first before merging into an exciting unity typical of wines from Eger. About its taste you can only speak in superlatives where the noble freshness gives both a serious and an accessible touch to its elegant structure, culminating in an exceptional ripeness. Kékfrankos: the Hungarian name for Austrian Blaufränkisch. The Kadarka grape originates from the Balkans. The Kadarka was brought to Hungary in the 16th century and, after it almost disappeared under communism, it is the most widely planted blue grape in Hungary. It is one of the most important grapes in traditional Bikavér.

Syrah, a strong blue grape of very high quality. This grape is usually not easy for wine growers, but it is the seasoning for many Côtes du Rhône Villages. Delivers incredibly powerful and complex wines under optimal conditions. Have a high tannin content, without being stiff. The Syrah grape quickly suffers from poor fruit set in cool weather during flowering (coulure) but is not very susceptible to grape diseases such as Oidium.
