Furmint from Törley in Eger, Hungary. Dry white wine from Hungary’s fascinating Furmint grape – complex and full-bodied. Originating from vineyards in Etyek-Buda, the indigenous Furmint grapes are also used for the famous Tokaji dessert wines. (The king of wines and the wine of kings), A different procedure is obviously followed for this dry wine. The grapes benefit from warm daytime temperatures, with gently cooling breezes that preserve their natural acidity. One of our favourite white grapes. Deliciously waxy nose, rich fruit in the mouth and a long finish. Furmint (100%)
