Negroamaro means ‘black bitter’ because the wine is very dark. It is a fairly old-tasting grape of reasonable quality that is planted in southern Italy, especially in Púglia (Apulia). They were then fermented at low temperatures to ensure that they would retain their flavour and freshness. This rosé consists of 100% negroamaro that is known for its ripe and full character.
