Tormaresca Torcicoda Salento IGT MAGNUM

Primitivo from Tormaresca in Puglia, Italy. An intensely coloured, ruby-red wine with rich and complex aromas of black cherries and raspberries that have matured in the sun. The palette is completed by spicy notes with a hint of liquorice. This is a very supple and elegant wine that also has a strong character.
100% primitivo grape that has matured for 10 months in Hungarian oak barrels. Puglia is located in the very south of Italy and has very hot summers. This makes for real character wines with a higher macho content than those from the north. The primitivo grape does very well there and can cope well with the hot temperatures in summer.
