Uggiano Brunello Di Montalcino. Sangiovese from Tuscany, Italy. On the nose ripe with black fruit, savory, mocha and spice. On the palate ripe black plums and sweet spice hints of nuts and wood. The firm structure is offset the intensity of the fruit, and the lively acidity gives a long and balanced finish. After pressing, the grapes undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After 18-22 days, the wine matures for 36 months in Slovenian oak barrels.

Sangiovese, the most common ancient and very robust, but thinly membranous variety. Originally from Tuscany and from there spread throughout Italy. Sangiovese consisting of two qualitatively very different sub-varieties. The Sangiovese piccolo (the lesser) dominates and is the main variety in Chianti.
