Sangiovese by Uggiano from Toscane, Italy. A smooth and soft Tuscan wine with notes of fresh red berry fruit in combination with a playful, full spicy taste. Very pleasant aftertaste that makes you long for the next sip. With roasted meat, game and also delicious with matured cheeses.

Sangiovese, the most common ancient and very robust, but thinly membranous variety. Originally from Tuscany and from there spread throughout Italy. Sangiovese consisting of two qualitatively very different sub-varieties. The Sangiovese piccolo (the lesser) dominates and is the main variety in Chianti.
