About Szepsy

Szepsy is considered one of wine gods in Hungary. His wines are a sought-after collector’s item not only in Hungary, but also far beyond its borders.

This estate wine incorporates furmint grapes from as many as eight different vineyards. For the wine lovers: Thurzó, Nyulas, Nyúlászó, Danczka, Szepsy, from St. Thomas, Úrágya en Újhegy. The overripe grapes harvested in late September give body and substance to the wine, which has an exceptional fruity bouquet of quince, pear and pineapple.

The distinctive furmint characteristics, such as lively acidity and an elegant minerality are clearly recognizable. A very complex and harmonious wine. The wine will only reach its peak between 2018 and 2020, but is already delicious to enjoy.
