This semi-sweet wine made from the Muscat grapes, which grow in the &#8220;Low Pened\u00e8s&#8221;, has a golden brown color with dark honey yellow gem tones. It is a surprising wine, typical of the grape variety for which it is named. In all its greatness, the wine exhibits the fruity (orange blossom, honey, light orange, raisin), floral (rose, geranium, lily) and spicy (tobacco leaf, cedar, clove) aromas of the Moscatel variety. Beautiful dessert wine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Moscatel the Iberian name for muscat. Moscatel is one of the many synonyms of Muscat (there are over 200) for the Spanish variety; the name refers to the rich muscat aroma. Wines called Moscatel are plain, sweet and dark, and usually made from Muscat d&#8217;Alexandria or Moscatel de Alejandr\u00eda. Muscatel is one of the oldest grape varieties in the Mediterranean basin and is best known for the sweet dessert wine made from pourriture noble. Another name for this grape is Moscatel Romano. Muscat Blanc \u00e0 Petits Grains is Moscatel de Grano Menudo. Moscatel de malaga seems to be a local variety in southern Spain.
