Bodegas Ontanon Ontanon Contrebia Tempranillo Blanco from Rioja Spain. A unique wine with intense aromas of tropical fruit and hints of banana, apple and citrus. Just like the red variant, this white Tempranillo has a firm body that gives a full feeling in the mouth, but which comes out refreshing at the end. Tempranillo Blanco is a natural variation on the well-known red Tempranillo and symbolizes a new generation of Rioja wines that are eager to be discovered. Very tasty with asparagus, fine fish dishes such as grilled scallops and sea bass, but also with chicken and mushrooms.

Medium bodied white wine.
Straw yellow with green hues in colour, on the nose, aromas of yellow apple and peach with notes of spices. Light tannins. High acidity. Buttery and complex white wine in style. On the palate, dry, fresh, soft, juicy, soft, aromatic, shows nice acidity and softness nuance in texture, savory, hint of green herbs and white blossom, touch of white plum and butter, delivers stone fruits character. It has a medium finish.
Pairs with Thai fish curry.
