Friulano from Depuppi in Friuli, Italy. Light straw-yellow color. Elegant and soft nose with aromas of orange blossom and hints of white peach. Beautifully balanced, velvety flavors of fruit and bitter almonds. Refined finish. Perfect with fish dishes and shellfish. Very good with asparagus.

Friulano is a white wine made in Friuli, Italy, from the Tocai Friulano grape, which is genetically identical to Sauvignonasse (Sauvignon Vert). The Friulano grape is most commonly found in northeastern Italy, in the Friuli and Veneto regions. Also known there as Tokai, it offers mineral aromas of white peach, citrus, grapefruit, pear, and granite, with occasional hints of a spice like tarragon. These are pure wines with crisp acidity and a light body. They are generally excellent with fresh salads, grilled vegetables, or fish dishes with lemon butter.
