Beyond Infinity Vin Orange from Languedoc, France. Clear, light orange color. Intense aromas of bitter oranges, dried flowers and light nutty hints. Fresh, lively and well balanced, with a nice acidity. The aromas carry through in the mouth. The finish is long, intense and complex. Delicious with aged cheeses, Roquefort, poultry dishes.
Grenache Blanc is a fairly boring grape that, like Grenache Noir, oxidizes easily and has a low acid content. Gives a certain softness to a mixed wine and is therefore common throughout the south of France. Grenache Blanc is strongly present in the white Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône and to a lesser extent in Côtes du Rhône-Village. Also used in some Rivesaltes Vin Doux Naturel from Roussillon. Called Garnacha blanca in Spain.
Muscat, a grape grown in almost all wine-producing countries. It is mainly made into sweet white wines. With the exception of the Muskat d’Alsace, a dry muscat wine from Alsace. The Muscat grape is the most variable: various local varieties are found all over the world. The standard color can be white/yellow, but also pink, red or even brown.
Viognier, an extremely vulnerable white grape of very high quality that forms the basis of Château Grillet and Condrieu. This grape is also allowed up to 20% in the red Côte Rôtie. Viognier produces a delicate, softly scented white wine. More and more quality-conscious wine growers are planting Viognier and as a result their white wines usually increase enormously in quality.
