Gary Farrell Winery Chardonnay

Gary Farrell Winery Chardonnay from Russian River Valley, United States. This beautifully aromatic Russian River Chardonnay delivers aromas of fresh orchard fruit, honeydew melon and ripe lemon. The palate is richly layered with flavors of roasted nectarine, lime zest, crushed ginger and baked lemon custard. The finish is bright and crisp, with a satisfyingly creamy texture that carries through to the spicy, lingering finish. Wonderful with oily fish dishes and white meats. Chardonnay, the grape of white Burgundy and Champagne, and is grown all over the world. Produces good to very good wine with a full, dry flavor. Chardonnay is a grape that does not have a single character, this depends on the terroir (soil and climate) and the way the wine is made. Chardonnay lends itself very well to aging in wooden barrels.
