Cuvee by Quinta De Pedra Escreta from Douro, Portugal. Albarino 35%, Rabigato 30 %, Verdelho 30%, Viognier 5 %. Wonderful white wine from the Douro! With a blend of Viognier and 3 noble varieties from the North of Portugal (touriga nacional, Rabigato and Verdelho), 9 months in French oak barrels. This is a complex, elegant and rich white, with plenty of acidity and length. Pale straw color -, mineral -, citrus -, specially grapefruit, dry peach, a hint of asparagus and well integrated oak. Dry, creamy and fresh, with a long flavorful finish. Excellent!
