Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz from Castello di Bolgheri in Tuscany, Italy. The Poggio is half Cabernet Sauvignon, a quarter Merlot and a quarter Syrah. After fermentation, the wine matures for 8 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels aged 2 and 3 years. The wine has a dark purple-red color, a fine and elegant nose of red fruit, a bit of plum and a hint of spice.
