Terre Forti Sangiovese Rosato Rubiconde IGT from Emigilia Romagna, Italy. Beautiful light pink colour. Fresh fruit aromas of pear and citrus on the nose. The palate is light with pleasantly soft palette and refreshing acidity on the finish. As an aperitif, risotto and creamy pasta dishes with fish.

Sangiovese, the most common ancient and very robust, but thinly membranous variety. Originally from Tuscany and from there spread throughout Italy. Sangiovese consisting of two qualitatively very different sub-varieties. The Sangiovese piccolo (the lesser) dominates and is the main variety in Chianti.
