Bon Courage The Pepper Tree Shiraz

Bon Courage The Pepper Tree Shiraz from Robertson, South Africa. A firm and powerful wine full of color and flavor. After fermentation, this wine matures for 12 months in both French and American oak barrels. The wine is characterized in particular by influences of ripe black fruit, chocolate, mocha, cedar and various spicy spices. The finish is long, complex, intense and also beautifully balanced.

Syrah, a strong blue grape of very high quality. This grape is usually not easy for wine growers, but it is the seasoning for many Côtes du Rhône Villages. Delivers incredibly powerful and complex wines under optimal conditions. Have a high tannin content, without being stiff. The Syrah grape quickly suffers from poor fruit set in cool weather during flowering (coulure) but is not very susceptible to grape diseases such as Oidium.
