Penley Project Ampohora Chardonnay

Penley Project Ampohora Chardonnay from Adelaide Hills, Australia. Refreshing aromas of citrus blossom and lime joined by a hint of ripe pear. The bright texture on the palate has a tangy acidity that comes across as almost sorbet-like. The pleasant taste of pear combined with citrus fruits and a mineral texture give this wine a complex and pleasant finish. The wine matures partly on 500l Terracota Amphora and also for 12 months in used oak barrels. Delicious with fish dishes and white meat dishes.
