Saturno Branca Reserva. Alvarinho, Arinto and Antão Vaz from Alentejo, Portugal. Pale yellow colour with green reflections. Beautiful floral aromas such as lime and orange blossom that are joined by tropical and exotic fruitiness. Fruity flavour with fresh acidity that provides pleasant volume on the palate. Harmonious and lingering finish. As an aperitif, with non-spicy fish-based dishes and white meat.

Quality grape from Galicia that, according to some, is descended from Riesling. However, this has not been completely proven. The albariño is certainly the most important grape of the Rías Baixas DO and has, rightly, experienced a spectacular boom. It is one of the most expensive white wines in Spain. At best, wines from Albariño have beautiful, peachy fruit on the palate. Rich, but not sweet. Most are ready to drink within a year and a half after harvest. If the albariño is given the chance (by undergoing complete malolactic fermentation), it can produce a full, steely, dry wine that drinks particularly elegantly. The grape is grown on man-sized vines. The ventilation from the Atlantic Ocean protects the grape against diseases and frost. A successful quality grape, especially planted in Galicia, especially in Rías Baixas. It is also the famous grape for the Portuguese vinhos verdes called alvarinho.

Arinto, also called padernà, is one of the oldest indigenous grape varieties from Portugal and most likely comes from the Bucelas wine region north of Lisbon. Arinto is a late-ripening white grape that is planted throughout Portugal. In Bucelas it is the most important grape and that is also where the best wine of Arinto comes from, where the influence of the ocean ensures elegant wines. Characteristic of Arinto is that this grape can retain its acidity in the sweltering summers of southern Portugal. Other plus points are that it ages well in the bottle and, if made by God, has finesse and an attractive lemon and peachy fruitiness. grown in the south of Portugal. It is mainly for hot areas.

The grape is fairly disease and drought resistant. Antão Vaz has a low acidity, a high alcohol content and is lemon colored and aromatic. The grape is suitable for aging in oak barrels. The grape is often combined with arinto. The wines are of little significance. Mainly grown in southern Portugal in the areas of Alentejo, Estremadura and Terras do Sado.
